There is a lot in the news (again) that is affecting our region, including one story that appears to be part of the ongoing and misguided drug policies of Mexico, the USA and indeed much of the world and that includes more mayhem; but I'm refusing to discuss that particular topic this week.

I prefer instead to focus on some ideas about the meeting that just took place by local and regional authorities who are asking for input regarding the creation of new jobs for all of Sonora including, of course, Peñasco.Read more »
