After reading that Ciudad Juarez recently started a 16 (consecutive) day party to tell the ‘world’ that they are a place to visit (invest in, etc.) — having borrowed the fiesta idea from Tijuana (Innovadora)– maybe it is time for Peñasco to do the same.

I like the thought. We could hold a two-week long (14 consecutive days) fiesta here that includes concerts, out-door cook-offs, shopping sprees, golfing tournaments, volley ball games, children’s activities, off-road events, fishing contests, food extravaganzas, etc. It could include speeches by prominent figures and further the positive ‘buzz’ about Peñasco.Read more »
